Sales Trainee

What can you expect?

Nestlé Sales trainees will not only have the opportunity to enjoy various Nestlé products including our premium coffee and CuiCuiSha, but also work with shopping malls and small shops for product sales. Moreover, you will be able to bring out your potential through negotiating with clients about price and quantity. With the help and guidance of colleagues, you will grab the essence of professional business skills and hardworking attitude.

Throughout the programme, you will have many chances to work cross-functionally, meet colleagues from all over the world and interact with the senior leadership team in various occasions.

Marketing Trainee

What can you expect?

Being a Marketing trainee in Nestlé, you will get a deep understanding of Nestlé as well as our customers inside out through exposure to social media and market data analysis. You will be involved in business negotiation with clients, planning and execution of marketing activities. Your innovative ideas will always have a chance in meetings and planning of activities to interact with customers. You may have the change to go through incubator idea to launch journey with creative ideas and quick executions. In addition, you will get numerous insights and broaden your horizon while communicating with colleagues and senior managers.

Human Resources Trainee

The well-rounded Nestlé HR Trainee Programme focuses on developing HR trainees’ knowledge and training their skills through adequate exposure to different HR functions in both commercial and manufacturing setting.

What can you expect?

In two years’ time, you will have various opportunities to manage projects, lead changes and support business. You will also be working in different functions – HR Business Partner in Beijing Head Office or sites, specialist roles in Talent & Org. Development, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment and Employee Services.

Who are we looking for?

Our Trainee Programme is designed to help trainees build on certain strengths, including being a quick learner, strong team player and talented organiser who is good at effective communication and focused on achieving results. To be an HR trainee in Nestlé, you need to have solid knowledge and understanding of HR in the organisation, the ability to embrace changes, good interpersonal skills and acumen to identify problems. In addition, good English proficiency is a plus in your application.

Finance Trainee

In Nestlé, members of our finance team do more than problem-solving activities and crunching numbers - they influence the production of million-dollar brands. Finance Trainees will get involved in each finance function to improve their capabilities.

What can you expect?

As a Finance Trainee, you will need to get involved with the basic financial work like providing cost-savings analyses, integrating new businesses, or revamping reporting structures to increase ease and efficiency. You may also work directly with our sales, marketing and production teams as we plan new products to bring to your local grocery stores.

Who are we looking for?

You must have Bachelor’s degree or above in finance-related or accounting-related majors. We hope that you have a sense of responsibility with great carefulness during your work. Meanwhile, you need to have basic proficiency in English and competitive learning ability. Besides, you must be geographically mobile throughout the two-year programme, as you may rotate to sites in different cities.

Supply Chain Trainee

Supply Chain is at the heart of all operations at Nestlé from sourcing raw materials right through to delivering the end products to our customers.

What can you expect?

As a member of the Supply Chain team you will need to work with our suppliers around the world to ensure responsibly sourced materials, and to be responsible for safely storing and transporting our products to meet our customers’ and consumers’ needs in-full and on-time. In your work, you will need to work closely with sales teams to satisfy customer requirements and interface focal of customers to improve the company service level. You will experience the most advanced E-supply chain knowledge and experience when collaborating with E-customers. Through this process, you will gradually gain insights into how one of the FMCG industry's most complex supply chains is managed. You will take on various placements across the breadth of the supply chain which could include Procurement, Customer Service & CFSC, Demand & Supply Planning, Physical Logistics, and EC Supply Chain.

Within the two-year program you will also receive coaching and feedback from senior managers to better develop your capabilities and achieve career success.

Who are we looking for?

Specifically, for the Supply Chain Trainee, you need to specialize in optimizations and statistical analysis. You must have Bachelor’s degree or above in majors including Supply Chain or Business Administration. Meanwhile, you need to have good English proficiency, strong communication skills, project management capability and competitive learning ability. Besides, you must be geographically mobile throughout the two-year program.

IT Trainee

The IT department is a fundamental and supportive part of Nestlé operation. All technical related work can be fixed by IT, providing us with a user-friendly working environment. As an IT member, you will need to support your team with daily technical problem solving and get involved in the optimization of our digital platforms and systems.

What can you expect?

As an IT Trainee, you will have many chances to manage and lead projects, supporting the company’s daily operation and business growth, providing IT and digital solution to support marketing, sales and e-business. You may also need to manage the stability and security of our IT infrastructure. You may have the chance to join the business intelligence projects and involve in digital architecture. You can also explore the SAP system to better support business needs. In two years’ time, you will have rotation within different IT functions, you may explore our company and businesses, get connected with our China Specific Businesses such as HFC, Yinlu, Totole and Haoji for specific projects.

What are we looking for?

You must have Bachelor’s degree or above in IT-related majors, with profound understanding of IT networking and communication. You need to have good problem-solving ability and analytical skills. An open mind, enthusiasm, good proficiency in English and competitive learning ability will help you stand out from the crowd. Besides, you must be geographically mobile throughout the two-year program.

Technical Trainee

What can you expect?

The two-year rotation for Technical trainees will enable them to understand work and daily practices in the factory and build solid knowledge of Nestlé Continuous Excellence.

You will contribute to the safety and quality of Nestlé products, by identifying potential risks and looking for prevention measures. You will also join regular meetings with the management, where you can raise questions, propose solutions and get timely feedback.
